The application of learning methods that are relevant to the demands of the times is needed to encourage the development of students' increasingly complex problem-solving skills. Christian Religious Education (PAK) teachers are expected to be able to present a learning environment that is conducive to the development of students' abilities through a contextual and project-based approach. Project Based Learning (PjBL) is one of the learning models that aims to provide real project-based learning experiences to students. This model is based on the principles of Vygotsky's constructivism, which emphasizes the importance of social interaction and collaboration in learning. In the context of PAK learning, project based learning helps students develop critical, analytical, and creative thinking skills, as well as problem-solving abilities. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach to analyze the impact of implementing the project based learning model on improving the problem-solving abilities of grade XI students at SMA Negeri I Kauditan. Data collected through observations, interviews, and questionnaires involving students and Christian Religious Education (PAK) teachers show that project based learning has proven effective in developing students' critical and analytical thinking skills. Students feel more confident in facing challenges, more collaborative in working in groups, and more disciplined in completing tasks. Teacher evaluations also confirm that the process of working on a project is as important as the end result, because it can describe the development of students' problem-solving skills as a whole.
Hermin Ranting, Jelty Juriaty Rumetor, Yahya Herman Liud, Ristan Rakim, Hizkia Joel Kambong, Julio Eleazer Nendissa, Frimsi Wohon Copyright (c) 2025 Julio Eleazer Nendissa, Hermin Ranting, Jelty Juriaty Rumetor, Yahya Herman Liud, Ristan Rakim, Hizkia Joel Kambong, Frimsi Wohon https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://ejournal.ipinternasional.com/index.php/ijere/article/view/1144 Sat, 18 Jan 2025 00:00:00 +0000 Technology Innovations in Education: Their Effects on Student Motivation and Learning Achievement https://ejournal.ipinternasional.com/index.php/ijere/article/view/1229
The following article discusses the impact of technological innovation in education on students' motivation and learning achievement. The strategy for developing students' da'wah competence at MTs Al-Mu'min Muhammadiyah Tembarak is outlined in four forms of activities, namely presentation of da'wah fiqh subjects, muhadloron familiarization, micro teaching practice, and debriefing carried out before departure to the PDL location.
Fakhrudin Fakhrudin, Abdul Haris, Syamsurizal Yazid Copyright (c) 2025 Fakhrudin Fakhrudin, Abdul Haris, Syamsurizal Yazid https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://ejournal.ipinternasional.com/index.php/ijere/article/view/1254 Fri, 31 Jan 2025 00:00:00 +0000 Implementation of the Child Protection Policy through Pentahelix Collaboration in West Sumatra Province https://ejournal.ipinternasional.com/index.php/ijere/article/view/1188
The implementation of Law No. 35/2014 on Child Protection provides a legal framework to protect children from various forms of violence, including sexual violence. Nevertheless, there are still challenges in its implementation. According to the records of the Office of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection, Population Control and Family Planning (DP3AP2KB) of West Sumatra Province, compiled from the information system on the protection of women and children has increased in the last 5 (five) years. This research aims to analyze the actors involved in the implementation of child protection in West Sumatra Province with data collection methods of documentation studies, interviews and FGDs, then the data is processed using a qualitative approach and a quantitative approach or known as a mixed approach. The approach uses the Miles and Huberman model and the mactor application. The theory used Advocacy Coalition Framework (ACF) and Pentahelix theory are two approaches that can complement each other in analyzing public policy. Meanwhile, Pentahelix emphasizes collaboration between five main actors: government, community, academia, business, and media. Combining these two theories can provide a deeper understanding of policy dynamics. The implementation of child protection policy implementation through pentahelik collaboration in factor analysis can be concluded that the actor who has a major influence is the government because the government is the actor who is in direct contact both in practical and policy aspects, all actors provide positive support, although the business world has not shown a collaborative relationship in the implementation of child protection, the government has the power to influence other actors, community/community collaboration is not strong enough to influence implementation.
Sri Fuji Lestari, Irwan Irwan, Elvawati Elvawato Copyright (c) 2025 Sri Fuji Lestari, Irwan Irwan, Elvawati Elvawato https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://ejournal.ipinternasional.com/index.php/ijere/article/view/1188 Fri, 31 Jan 2025 00:00:00 +0000 Digital Teaching Material Short Story Text for 4C Ability Development in SMA/MA https://ejournal.ipinternasional.com/index.php/ijere/article/view/1206
In the current era of globalization, educators and students are required to master and be able to apply technology in teaching and learning activities. India's higher education institutions offer a diverse learning environment due to this cultural pluralism, impacting student behavior based on their perceptions of these environments. Understanding students' perceptions of cultural pluralism is therefore crucial. This study aim to develop a scale to measure students' perceptions of cultural pluralism in higher education. Scale development involved item generation, expert validation, and pilot testing. The framework was drawn from Deardorff's Intercultural Competence Model (2006) and Chen and Starosta's Intercultural Communication Competence Model (1996). Initially, 128 items were generated, based on a literature review for content validity. The expert evaluation reduced these items to 47 items on a five-point Likert scale. Purposive sampling was used to select 152 undergraduate students from various departments at Panjab University, Chandigarh, India. The final scale had a three-factor structure with 21 items, validated through explanatory and confirmatory factor analyses. The scale proved reliable, with a Cronbach’s alpha of greater than .70. Overall, this study contributes to the existing knowledge by providing a comprehensive and empirically validated instrument for assessing students' perceptions of cultural pluralism within academic settings.
Lalita Lalita Copyright (c) 2025 Lalita Lalita https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://ejournal.ipinternasional.com/index.php/ijere/article/view/1300 Wed, 05 Mar 2025 00:00:00 +0000
