Development Of Interactive Learning Media To Improve Student Learning Outcomes In Writing Observation Report Texts Among 10th-Grade Students At SMK Negeri 1 Sei Suka

Abstract
This study was motivated by the low achievement of students in writing observation report texts. Based on interviews with teachers and students, it was found that adequate interactive learning media were not available in the learning process. This situation encouraged the development of interactive learning media for observation report text material to improve student learning outcomes. This study aimed to determine the development process, feasibility, and effectiveness of interactive learning media for 10th-grade students at SMK Negeri 1 Sei Suka for the 2025–2026 academic year. This study used the Research and Development (R&D) method. The research subjects were 10th-grade students at SMK Negeri 1 Sei Suka for the 2025-2026 academic year. Data collection instruments included questionnaires, expert validation sheets, and learning outcome tests in the form of pretests and posttests. The results of the study indicated that the interactive learning media developed had an effectiveness rate of 83%, which falls into the very good category. The students' average posttest score of 83.00 showed a significant increase compared to the average pretest score of 63.43. This proves that the interactive learning media developed are effective in improving the ability to write observational report texts among 10th-grade students at SMK Negeri 1 Sei Suka
